Key Largo is a wonderful fall, winter and spring wedding destination. Bakers Cay Resort on Key Largo is perfect for bringing family and friends to relax and enjoy the beach and the pool and the resort before and after the wedding day. And on the wedding day, there is a private beach for weddings and a ballroom with a wall of windows overlooking the water of the Gulf of Mexico. As a wedding photographer who only takes a limited number of destination weddings it was a joy to travel to someplace new and have the opportunity to explore. Bakers Cay really does have it all. Including lots of covered walkways and spaces that mean even if there's a little rain on the wedding day there are places for outdoor pictures. Like this shot of the bridesmaids, they are under cover. Their long black with pale pink flowers flowy gowns were formal but still felt a little beachy with the way they flowed in the breeze. The best part about getting married may be having all the people you love all in one place. And the love and support of best friends, cousins and sisters in law is priceless. These girls had a great time as you can see! The bride was stunning in her deep v neck sheath dress in a light weight fabric for beach breezes. If you haven't been to the Florida Keys or to Key Largo I recommend it go on your bucket list whether for a destination wedding or vacation. The water is picture perfect and it's the best get away. Bakers Cay is a destination wedding location that is conveniently located in the US but feels like a tropical island far away. As a wedding photographer I'd jump at the chance to go back for another beach wedding with water views, sand and sunsets.
