The best mansion venue in Washington DC is the Meridian House, hands down. It's gorgeous inside and out making for a romantic backdrop for a ceremony and reception and wedding pictures. As a wedding photographer, I dreamed of photographing a wedding here and have had the honor of photographing several weddings here now. It remains a favorite wedding venue. This picture is the bride and groom, they slipped out of the reception and dancing for a few portraits under the garden lights after dark. These pictures of sweet quiet moments, on such an important day, are another way an experienced photographer can make those treasured pictures happen quickly without taking time away from the guests or party. Yet, those moments are the pictures that will bring back the feelings of the wedding day and be treasured for a lifetime.
